Dodgen Middle School: All-STate Band 2013

Congratulations to Dodgen Band's three All-State Band winners for the 2012-2013 school year. For the first time in Dodgen's history, we have our very first student to pass the final audition on the Tenor Saxophone! Mr. Jack Smith's photo will take its place on the Dodgen Band Wall-of-Fame to inspire future Dodgen Band students to strive for success on the Tenor Saxophone.
Continuing Dodgen's tradition of exemplary students on the Clarinet, Ms. Samantha Brener and Mr. Jun Baeg distinguished themselves as among the best of the best by passing the final All-State Audition. These two outstanding clarinetists represent the many outstanding clarinet students in the Dodgen Band program. As their photos take their place on the Dodgen Band Wall-of-Fame, many future Dodgen clarinet students will look to these two outstanding musicians for inspiration. These three fine student-musicians serve as honorable representatives of the Dodgen Band program, Dodgen Middle School, the Dodgen community, and their families. We wish them the best as Jun enters the Pope High School Band program, and as Jack and Samantha enter the Walton High School Band program. Congratulations to all forty (40) Dodgen Band Students who have earned a seat in the Georgia All-State Band and a place on the Dodgen Band all-of-Fame since 2003! |
